VENEZIA

We hear every day stupid criticism about Venice. People say it’s not as wonderful as they depict it, or that it’s overrated, and so on… Well, I study in Venice, so I’ve always seen it with the eyes of someone who drops by in a hurry and then takes the train back home, without focusing on the beauty of the place. To me Venice was only rain, humidity, hurry and long walks. So yesterday I decided to go there with my soul deprived of all the platitudes, simply with the eyes of someone who goes somewhere wishing to catch only the best he can get out of it. And this is exactly what I did – I decided to take a whole day to visit Venice and the islands around it, just walking around, getting lost through its little streets and living the city as a soul who listens, breathes and watches.
